BEHIND ARRICCI
Hi, I’m Catherine
I design and hand-fabricate every Arricci piece in my California studio using traditional metalsmithing techniques, sterling silver and natural gemstones. Each piece is made individually rather than mass produced, giving the jewelry its own character and point of view.
A design often begins with the stone itself. Unusual colors, markings and natural formations can suggest a landscape, a place or simply something unexpected that makes me stop and look a little closer.
HAND-STAMPED JOURNEY RINGS
No two journeys look exactly alike.
Each sterling silver Journey Ring is stamped by hand with its own landscape of mountains, forests, stars and trails. I create the scene as I work, so every ring develops a little differently.
The latest group has sold out, and I’m back at my bench making more. New Journey Rings will be available soon and at my upcoming shows.
